For distinguished service in the field February 26th to September 20th 1917.  Commanded a Battery  till recently promoted.  His Battery was very efficient and well disciplined.  Has at various times performed the duties of Brigade Major and Staff Captain efficiently.  Now commands the Divisional Ammunition Column and is a good organiser.  Has served throughout the war
