RAF Station Mepal.  This airman has been employed in the technical wing in charge of the airframe repair section for three years.  He has shown outstanding practical ability and has worked at time for 24 hours a day in all weathers and conditions.  His qualities of leadership have been far beyond normal requirements whilst working under extraordinarily difficult conditions on numerous occasions
