CITATION
Distinguished Service Order
Gazetted 1 January 1917, p26
This officer has been of the greatest service to the New Zealand Division not only in his capacity as CRE but also since the Division came to France in helping to train the Pioneer Battalion in its duties. The Pioneers were an entirely new untrained body and Lieutenant Colonel Pridham by his advice has contributed in no small measure to their success. During the operations in which the Division was engaged on the Somme Lieutenant Colonel Pridham displayed marked ability. His services during the winter have been of great value owing to his ability and untiring energy.
